WORKSHOPS
COLLABORATION W/ AAAL This conference is planned in conjunction with the biennial education conference hosted by the African-American Academy for Accelerated Learning (AAAL), “Celebrating Successes in Educating African American Children,” November 6-7, 2009, also at the Holiday Inn Suites in Bloomington. Renowned author and educator Alfred Tatum is the keynote speaker at the kick-off banquet for the AAAL conference. This two-day event is a historic collaboration between the Givens Foundation for African American Literature and AAAL.
REGISTRATION The Givens Foundation is inviting a select group of schools and districts to attend our conference on November 6, 2009. Please encourage teams of teachers to participate.
