The Inkwell Writers Fund
This year, the Givens Foundation is launching the Inkwell Writers Fund, a campaign in support of advancing the public understanding of and access to the authors and literary works that articulate the unique history, identity, and cultural themes found within the African American experience. This campaign will solicit artists and community leaders who are recognized for their passion and commitment to advancing and celebrating African American arts and culture.
Contributors to the Givens Foundation's Inkwell Writers Fund receive numerous of benefits:
| Griots' Legacy $25,000+ | Event and/or program naming. Educational curricula developed around work for use in literary arts education residencies. Book sales on Givens website. Honorary Board membership. Name on all Givens printed materials. Website recognition & weblink promoting last five most recent publications or other cultural products. |
