Investing in the Next Chapter: The Givens Foundation's Major Donor Campaign
The Givens Foundation is uniquely poised to advance African American literature and writers on local, regional, and national levels. To meet this challenge, the Givens Foundation has launched an ambitious campaign to raise $750,000 to cultivate a broader community of readers, to equip the newest generation of writers with the resources and support that they require, and to give voice to the next chapter of African American literature. This campaign has three primary goals:
- Expanding Educational Programming
- Expanding Programs and Services for African American Writers
- Building Organizational Capacity and Reserve
With support from major individual contributors and community leaders, we will give voice to the next chapter of African American literary work in the unfolding narrative of human experience.
